Job summary

TF-AMD Penang is seeking a seasoned manufacturing leader to oversee the production shift performance, drive productivity, and mentor line supervisors for continuous improvement in a high-paced setting. The role emphasizes quality, cost control, and cross-functional collaboration within the Penang facility.

The ideal candidate has 10–12 years of manufacturing experience, with 5–8 years in similar environments, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or above in electrical, electronic engineering or equivalent.
• Language: Good oral and written skills in English.
• Experience: 10–12 years total, including 5–8 years manufacturing expertise in a high-paced environment.
• Must know lean manufacturing concepts and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage a manufacturing operation section which activities include production.
• Effectively manage human resources to ensure high level of productivity.
• Responsible for quality level of the manufacturing process.
• Manage small group activity and lean manufacturing.
• Manage the budget and cost of the department to ensure that the company is cost-effective in all its operations.
• Formulate plans and lead a team to achieve MFG goals and objectives.
• Lead and guide staff to achieve operation/engineering/technical solutions as well as maintain competitiveness.
• Other duties as assigned by top management.
