is seeking a seasoned Manager – Program & Manufacturing Operations for contract manufacturing to lead end-to-end production, scheduling, and resource planning in Penang. The role emphasizes lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement to drive on-time delivery, quality, and cost efficiency, collaborating with senior management and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in operations or production management in a machining/manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, CNC equipment, and tooling.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end production operations to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
• Develop and implement production schedules while managing resources to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
• Oversee inventory management, procurement, and supply chain processes to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Monitor team performance, providing regular feedback and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
• Drive initiatives to reduce waste and improve overall product quality.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs using lean manufacturing principles and data-driven approaches.
• Collaborate with the Senior Management to set operational goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
• Prepare and present regular operational performance reports to Senior Management.
