Job summary

TF-AMD Penang is seeking a Production Supervisor to supervise and manage resources to achieve production targets, quality, yield, output and cost goals. You will lead the production team, coordinate with cross-functional groups and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in manufacturing operations, and proven ability to drive productivity and continuous improvement through structured problem solving and coaching of line staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Good oral and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• 0–6 years’ work experience including 0–3 years’ manufacturing operation expertise in high paced environment.
• Strong leadership with experience or potential on people management; able to supervise Engineering Assistants and Operators.
• Independent, resourceful and takes initiative; able to cooperate with other departments.
• Project management skills; familiar with office tools.
• Knowledge of statistical process control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage resources to achieve production target, quality, yield, output and cost goals.
• Manage performance, motivation, and satisfaction of the production team and processes to ensure quality, output and efficiency.
• Do shift production plan and set goals for each insertion based on weekly commitment goal.
• Prepare and review daily production report.
• Lead team to drive productivity and 5S/discipline/quality improvement through QCC/SGA.
• Solve and feedback line abnormal issues appropriately.
• Ensure operators work complying with specs and company policy.
• Coordinate to hold cross function Tier2 meetings.
• Rate line employees’ monthly performance and encourage improvement.
• Coaching and training line people to improve performance.
