Marks & Spencer in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Section Manager to lead a department (food or fashion) to achieve sales targets, deliver excellent customer service, and uphold high merchandising standards. You will manage stock, drive commercial performance, and develop a motivated team while maintaining brand standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and effective communication to create a welcoming shopping experience and drive profitability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Formación

• At least 2 years of retail supervisory or management experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
• Good commercial awareness with the ability to analyze sales and stock data.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for fashion and food, with the ability to create a welcoming shopping experience.
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to perform in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsabilidades

• Drive sales through merchandising, promotions, and identifying opportunities within the department.
• Provide professional product advice, maintain well-stocked displays, and ensure fitting rooms and service areas run efficiently.
• Maintain attractive visual merchandising and collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team for lingerie collections and promotions.
• Manage stock availability, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and competitor pricing to maximize sales.
• Improve operational efficiency by staffing, minimizing stock loss, and planning for seasonal launches and promotions.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team through performance management and feedback.
• Support store operations and ensure departmental expenses remain within budget.

The role involves managing inventory, driving commercial performance, ensuring an inviting shopping experience, and developing a motivated team while upholding the brand's service standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive sales through effective merchandising, promotions, and identifying commercial opportunities within the department.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by providing professional product advice, maintaining well-stocked displays, and ensuring fitting rooms and service areas operate efficiently.
• Maintain attractive visual merchandising and collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to showcase key lingerie collections and promotions.
• Manage stock availability, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and competitor pricing to maximize sales and profitability.
• Improve operational efficiency by managing staffing, minimizing stock loss, and planning for seasonal product launches and promotions.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team through performance management, training, and regular feedback.
• Support overall store operations and ensure departmental expenses remain within budget.
