Multi-Trans Sdn Bhd in Port Klang is seeking a Freight Forwarding Operations Coordinator with at least 3 years in seafreight/import/export. You will coordinate with overseas agents, manage shipment files in the SOVY system, and ensure accurate documentation, costing, and timely updates to customers.
Candidates should understand Incoterms, shipping procedures, and be capable of handling multiple shipments and accounts concurrently. Mandarin is a plus.

Coordinate with overseas agents to obtain complete and accurate pre-alert documentation.
Open and maintain shipment job files in the SOVY system, ensuring all information is entered accurately.
Prepare and submit correction manifests to carriers and co-loaders, and follow up on arrival notices.
Keep customers informed with timely shipment updates, delivery status, and operational feedback.
Prepare costing and billing accurately, and ensure payment is received from cash customers before releasing the Delivery Order (DO), Electronic Delivery Order (EDO), or Import Invoice Document (IID).
Update all shipment milestones and process flows in the SOVY system before submitting completed job files for closure.
Coordinate closely with internal departments to ensure smooth cargo handling and on-time delivery.
Manage multiple customer accounts while delivering responsive and professional customer service.
Maintain accurate documentation and filing in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a freight forwarding or logistics company, preferably in Seafreight Import/Export Operations.
Strong understanding of Incoterms, shipping procedures, and import/export documentation.
Proven ability to manage multiple shipments and customer accounts simultaneously.
Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage, as the role requires communication with China-based customers and overseas agents.
Familiarity with carriers, co-loaders, and freight forwarding documentation processes.
Experience using the SOVY system is an advantage; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Good communication, coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Willing to be based in Port Klang.
