Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable import operations professional to manage end-to-end air and sea shipments inside Malaysia. You will handle pre-alerts, arrival, customs clearance, cargo collection, and final delivery, ensuring documents are complete and compliant.
This role requires strong coordination with customers, agents, airlines, warehouses and transport teams, plus accuracy in billing, record-keeping and SOP upkeep. Proficiency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.

Manage end-to-end import shipment operations from pre-alert, arrival, customs clearance, cargo collection to final delivery.
Review import and customs clearance documents to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with Malaysia regulations.
Coordinate with customers, customs agents, airlines, warehouse, transport and delivery teams to ensure smooth shipment movement.
Prepare and maintain operational documents including D/O, POD and shipment records.
Monitor shipment status and resolve operational exceptions related to customs, flights, warehousing, collection and delivery.
Handle supplier billing, customer billing, reconciliation, invoicing and payment follow-up.
Maintain proper documentation and continuously improve operational processes and SOPs.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end import shipment operations from pre-alert, arrival, customs clearance, cargo collection to final delivery.

1–3 years of relevant experience in air or sea import/export customer service or operations in Malaysia.
Familiar with air or sea import operations, Malaysia customs regulations and import permit application procedures.
Basic knowledge of import/export trade and international logistics operations.
Experience in high-tech, energy or fresh food industries will be an added advantage.
Proficient in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia for business communication.
Familiar with air or sea logistics systems and Microsoft Office / common office software.
Familiar with cargo collection, delivery and customs clearance requirements in LMW, FIZ and FCZ areas.
Strong communication, coordination, customer service and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Able to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, responsible and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
