Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel Malaysia is seeking a Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist (open to fresh grads) to join our Freight Forwarding team. You will help transport goods, optimise processes, and fulfill customer promises, including medicines, toys and machine parts, contributing to moments that matter worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, ideally within Sea Logistics.
• Advanced expertise in customer management and satisfaction.
• Customer-oriented mindset focused on delivering solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English and local language.

Responsibilities

• Create/complete shipment details in transport management system and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Monitor and report operational performance of carriers and ensure data quality.
• Create files for consolidation containers (Master).
• Review shipping instructions, ensure compliance and resolve deviations.
• Issue and submit all required documentation within 24 hours of departure.
• Share departure confirmations with CCLs and verify schedules.
• Release BAL B/L per guidelines.
• Maintain cost awareness and support profitability updates for CCLs.
• Check supplier invoices and resolve rate discrepancies.
• Support and resolve claims and disputes.
