Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance with at least 2 years of relevant experience, including payroll processing and knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience (education sector a plus).
• Familiarity with payroll processing and Malaysian tax regulations (EPF/SOCSO).
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including processing orders, invoices, and payments (registration, tuition, deposits, and other fees).
• Handle petty cash and cheque book management for school expenses.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, bank reconciliations, and management accounts.
• Assist with tax computation, audits, and liaison with tax agents/auditors.
• Support purchasing processes, budget tracking, and credit control.
• Manage staff insurance and student withdrawal/refund processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial, staff, and student data.
