Job summary

St Ignatius Catholic School in George Town, Cayman Islands, seeks an Accounts Receivable Officer to manage invoicing, collections and related postings. You will ensure accurate billing for tuition, resources and events, posting transactions per GAAP and school policies.

A strong team player with integrity is essential. Responsibilities include processing payments in QuickBooks, generating invoices, reconciling AR ledgers, and supporting monthly financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Master's or professional accounting certification is advantageous.
• Minimum of three years in accounts receivable.
• Experience with QuickBooks is essential.
• School setting experience is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• High accuracy, efficiency and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day accounts receivable operations per financial policies.
• Process, record and reconcile all incoming payments in QuickBooks.
• Deliver customer‑focused service to parents, students and staff.
• Prepare and send invoices for school fees promptly.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger and aging.
• Submit monthly collection and delinquency reports with actions taken.
• Assist in monthly/annual financial reporting for the school.
