Job summary
Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced SAP functional consultant to support regional SAP MM, EWM and GTS deployments. You will analyze business needs, design scalable solutions, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors. Preference for S/4HANA and ECC background with regional implementation exposure.
The role involves ensuring robust integrations with FICO/SD/MDG and continuous process improvements in a dynamic health-care manufacturing context.
Qualifications
- 4 years in SAP MM/EWM regional projects (L2/L3).
- At least 1 full regional end-to-end SAP MM/EWM implementation.
- Exposure to MM/EWM subdomains: procurement, inventory, invoicing, inbound/outbound, warehouse ops.
- Cross-functional/integration with SAP FICO/SD/MDG is a plus.
- Fiori MDG/MM/EWM exposure advantageous.
- Minor technical capability in IDoc processing and data replication is a plus.
- S/4HANA experience is a plus; ECC background welcome.
- Global/regional support experience is a plus.
- Experience in medical manufacturing industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Execute regional support, deployment, customization & continuous enhancement of SAP MM/EWM and SAP GTS, coordinating with vendors.
- Work with MDG, SAP SD and external 4PL/3PL partners for integration.
- Understand business requirements and improve processes in a regional context.
- Lead design of scalable, efficient solutions and validate vendor configurations.
- Conduct system testing and troubleshoot issues to improve stability.

- To execute regional support, deployment, customization & continous enhancement of SAP MM / EWM and SAP GTS modules as well as its integration (alongside with appointed vendors) ;
- With SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) application
- With SAP SD or others
- With Business Applications of our external Business Partners such as 4th Party Logistic (4PL) and 3rd Party Logistic (3PL) partners.
- To understand and analyze business requirements related to SAP MM / EWM and SAP GTS while continuously improving business processes & collaborating with different stakeholders within a regional setting.
- Identify key business processes and pain points of the customized solutions
- Address specific business needs and requirements.
- Develop comprehensive solution designs, considering factors such as scalability, efficiency, and industry best practices.
- To lead & work together with other project stakeholders to facilitate seamless regional integration and support of SAP MM / EWM and SAP GTS.
- Conduct system testing to validate the functionality and performance of SAP MM / EWM and SAP GTS.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies, implementing optimizations to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
- Support Material Master Data Governance Lead, Data Owner and Stewards to coordinate the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of material master data standards, policies, ownership and governance processes.
You will work with different stakeholders, liasing with internal Project Manager, Business Process Owner, Key Business Users, Business Analyst, other Functional & Technical Consultants / programmers as well as appointed vendors within SAP MM / EWM & SAP GTS and its integration on a regional enhancement, support and implementation role (if any). The client already on S4 HANA environment (but open for candidates with ECC background). The client is looking for a proactive functional consultant with the extensive configuration expertise to validate & verify the vendor configuration works etc, the consultant will focus on continous enhancement of SAP MM / EWM & SAP GTS as well as its integration with SD & others (from functionalities, business processes and system robustness or stability perspective).
- Someone with at least 4 years of working experience in SAP MM / EWM within regional implementation, enhancement and/or support project either in L2 or L3 is an added advantage but not compulsary.
- Someone with at least 1 full cycle end to end regional implementation of SAP MM / EWM is an added advantage but not compulsary.
- Someone with exposure on either one of these SAP MM / EWM subdomains ; procurement / inventory management / invoice verification/ inbound / outbound / warehouse operations is an added advantage but not compulsary.
- Someone with strong cross functional or integration experience with : 3rd party system / SAP FICO / SAP SD / SAP MDG is an added advantage but not compulsary.
- Someone with functional exposure of SAP Fiori in relation to MDG / MM / EWM is added advantage but not compulsary.
- Someone with a minor technical capability on IDoc processing, interface monitoring and SAP data replication is added advantage but not compulsary (this is still a functional role, not technofunctional)
- SAP S/4HANA experience is an added advantage but not compulsary (ECC is welcome to apply).
- Those with global / regional support / project experience is an added advantage but not compulsary.
- Someone within medical manufacturing industry is an added advantage but not compulsary.
- Open for MALAYSIAN & expats who DOES NOT require VISA to work in Msia
- up to RM 15,000 & can be increased to experienced consultant who already earned more
