Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a SAP MDG Developer/Technical Consultant to maintain and enhance the SAP MDG module, ensuring performance and reliability. You will design, develop and implement MDG solutions, translating complex requirements for analysts and consultants.

The role involves collaborating with technical teams, functional consultants, and project managers on support and project implementations. Relevant MDG experience is essential.

Qualifications

At least 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP within SAP MDG implementation or support (L2/L3).
At least 1 full cycle end-to-end SAP MDG implementation project on regional/global basis.

Responsibilities

Maintain SAP MDG development for optimum performance and reliability.
Design, develop, and implement SAP MDG solutions.
Participate in end-to-end SDLC activities as needed (design, reviews, testing, support).
Develop technical specifications from business/functional requirements.

To maintain SAP MDG development to ensure optimum performance and reliability of the SAP MDG module at all time (from technical perspective).
To design, develop, and implement feasible SAP MDG solution.
If required ; to be involved in end to end software development lifecycle activities, including design, code reviews, testing, and post-deployment support (from technical perspective).
To develop technical specifications based on business & functional requirements.
To translate complex technical requirements & provide advice to business analysts / functional consultants.
To troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

about the manager/team

The role is a SAP MDG developer / technical consultant role where you will be working with other technical, functional consultant, business analyst and project manager on a support & project implementation role of SAP MDG (if any).

about requirements:

Someone who has at least 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP within SAP MDG implementation project and/or support (L2 / L3) is an added but not compulsary.
Someone with at least 1 full cycle end-to-end SAP MDG implementation projects on a regional or global basis is an added but not compulsary.
Those with exposure in this ABAP language ; object-oriented programming (OO) is an added but not compulsary.
Those with exposure in Web Dynpro (User Interface side) is an added but not compulsary.
Those with exposure in SAP MDG - C (Customer side) with minimal or mid level business process understanding is an added but not compulsary (this is a technical developer role, not a technofunctional / functional role).
Those with exposure in SAP HANA is is an added but not compulsary (the client is on ECC with HANA database).
