Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced ABAP developer to join our SAP team. You will work with BASIS, business users, project managers, and external consultants to deliver ABAP solutions across reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.

The role involves implementing Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and OData, while optimizing ABAP code for performance in an S/4HANA environment. Prior end-to-end SAP projects are a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SAP ABAP experience in implementation or support (L2/L3).
• At least one full cycle end-to-end implementation project on a regional/global basis is a plus.
• Exposure to API REST / SOAP / interfaces / S4HANA / Fiori (UI5) / CDS / AMDP / OData is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BASIS and functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Implement Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and OData services.
• Optimize ABAP code for performance in an S/4HANA environment (CDS Views, AMDP).
• Participate in full cycle end-to-end SAP implementation projects when required.
• Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices.

about requirements

• Someone who has at least 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP within implementation project and/or support (L2/L3) is an added but not compulsory.
• Someone with at least 1 full cycle end-to-end implementation projects on a regional or global basis is an added but not compulsary.
• Those with exposure on either one of these ; API REST / SOAP / other interfaces / S4 HANA / Fiori (UI5) / CDS / AMDP / Odata / designing and building applications is added advantage but not compulsary.
• Those with exposure in either one of these functional modules - from ABAP perspective ; SAP MM / SAP SD / SAP FICO is an added advantage but not compulsary (this is a ABAP technical developer role, not technofunctional or functional role)
