Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced SAP MM Senior Functional Consultant to lead the delivery of SAP MM solutions across global projects. You will serve as the SME for SAP Material Management and work with cross-functional teams in a multinational environment.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, designing To-Be processes, configuring SAP MM, supporting SIT/UAT, data migration, and go-live activities while ensuring seamless integration with FI, SD, PP, WM/EWM, and QM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on SAP experience with strong SAP MM expertise.
• Proven experience in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, purchasing, vendor management, and material master processes.
• Deep knowledge of SAP MM integration with FI, SD, PP, WM/EWM, and QM.
• Experience in multinational/global project environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Senior Functional Consultant to join our team and drive the successful delivery of SAP Material Management solutions across global projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP MM, strong business process knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and scalable solutions in a multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership and accountability for the successful delivery of SAP MM projects and enhancements.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP Material Management processes and functionality.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
• Design and develop future-state (\"To-Be\") business processes aligned with organizational objectives.
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate solution delivery.
• Configure SAP MM modules and maintain configuration documentation in accordance with project standards and governance.
• Identify, manage, and elevate configuration conflicts across projects, integrated systems, and business processes.
• Support testing activities, including test script creation, test data preparation, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Participate in data migration, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
• Provide country-specific and site-specific expertise to support global deployments and local business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Procurement, to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration.
• Support post-go-live stabilization activities and continuous process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on SAP experience, with strong expertise in SAP Material Management (MM).
• Proven experience in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, purchasing, vendor management, and material master processes.
• Deep knowledge of SAP MM integration with modules such as FI, SD, PP, WM/EWM, and QM.
• Experience working in multinational and global project environments.
• Strong understanding of business analysis, requirements gathering, process modeling, and solution design methodologies.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence business and IT leaders, including director-level stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and business partnering skills.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, facilitate workshops, and drive requirements clarification through prototyping and collaboration.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel based on project and business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or transformation programs.
• Experience within the Pharmaceuticals or Life Sciences industry is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of regulated environments and compliance-related procurement processes is an advantage.
• SAP certification in SAP MM or related modules is a plus.
