Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking experienced SAP Functional Consultants / Senior Consultants to join a leading consulting environment in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on MM, EWM, PP and SD modules with strong integration across SAP components.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years of SAP experience, expertise in one or more key modules, and a proven ability to work in an agile/enterprise setting. Excellent communication and flexibility for travel or client-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or related disciplines.
• 4–8 years of SAP experience in at least one module.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 AMS support for SAP applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve medium to complex production incidents within SLA.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and problem management to prevent recurring incidents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide L2/L3 AMS support for SAP applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve medium to complex production incidents within agreed SLA.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and problem management to prevent recurring incidents.
• Work closely with business users, client IT teams and other application teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Lead discussions on solution design for enhancements.
• Perform effort estimation and coordinate end-to-end solution delivery.
• Prepare functional specifications, documentation and test scenarios.
• Support SIT, UAT and production deployment.
• Ensure successful integration between SAP modules and related applications.
• Participate in SAP implementation, enhancement and transformation projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support and coordinate with offshore/onshore teams where required.
• Coach and guide junior consultants/analysts.
• Willing to support critical incidents or high-priority requests outside normal business hours on a rotation basis.
• Willing to travel or work at client site when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or related disciplines.
• 4–8 years of SAP experience in at least ONE of the following modules:
  • SAP MM
  • SAP EWM
  • SAP PP
  • SAP SD
• Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of end-to‑end business processes within the relevant SAP module.
• Experience in SAP production support / AMS and/or implementation projects.
• Good understanding of integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis and testing.
• Experience with SIT / UAT is an advantage.
• Basic technical debugging knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently.
• Good command of English.
• Willing to work on a rotation basis for critical/high-priority incidents.
• Willing to travel or work at client site when required.

You do not need to have all four modules. Candidates with strong expertise in one core SAP module plus good integration knowledge are encouraged to apply.
