Job summary

Westernacher Consulting GmbH in Malaysia is seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant to lead large-scale transformation projects across local and regional engagements. You will drive blueprints, configuration, testing, and post-go-live support for SAP FICO on S/4HANA, ensuring integration with FI/CO and other modules.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience, SAP certification in FI/CO, and strong English communication.

• Configure, optimize, and refine SAP FICO using SAP Activate methodology.
• Collaborate with technical teams on configuration, development, and data migration.
• Act as trusted advisor to drive transformation and user adoption.
• Travel regionally during key project phases for implementation and stakeholder alignment.

As we continue to strengthen our team in Malaysia, we are seeking an experiencedSenior SAP FICO Consultantto lead strategic SAP transformation programs and drive successful project delivery across local, regional, and global engagements.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and participate in all phases of the SAP FICO implementation lifecycle, including blueprinting, fit/gap analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Design and implement best-practice SAP FICO business processes, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.
• Configure, optimize, and refine SAP FICO solutions using SAP Activate methodology.
• Collaborate with technical teams on configuration, development, and data migration activities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through transformation initiatives and driving adoption.
• Travel regionally during critical project phases to ensure successful implementation and effective collaboration with teams and end-users.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience, including implementation, rollout, and support on SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong functional expertise in FI & CO, with proven experience in cross-module integration.
• Excellent English communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel during key project milestones.
• Understanding of SAP AI and Embedded Analytics within S/4HANA.
• Current SAP certification in FI, CO, or both.
• As visa sponsorship is not available for this role, we can only consider candidates who are Malaysian citizens or who already hold valid work authorisation and are based in South East Asia.
