Job summary

Westernacher Consulting Malaysia is seeking an experienced SAP Logistics Solution Architect to lead strategic SAP transformation programs across local, regional, and global engagements. You will design end-to-end SAP logistics architectures, translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, and guide delivery across multiple modules.

We value a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of SAP experience (S/4HANA MM/SD), strong consulting with client-facing skills, and a track record in pre-sales,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, business, supply chain, engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of SAP experience with hands-on SAP S/4HANA MM and SD expertise.
• Proven cross-module and integration architecture experience across multiple systems.
• Full lifecycle track record from pre-sales through go-live and hypercare.
• Consulting background with strong client-facing presence and stakeholder management.
• Systematic, options-based analytical thinking and ability to defend architectural decisions.
• Demonstrated line management, mentoring or technical leadership of consulting teams.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Solution Architecture and Pre-Sales

• Design end-to-end SAP logistics solution architectures aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.

• Translate complex, cross-functional logistics requirements into coherent, scalable and defensible SAP solutions.

• Design and build proof-of-concepts, demonstrations and client presentations that address prospect pain points and demonstrate value.

• Support business development and bids through solution shaping, effort and cost estimates, proposal development and credible client conversations.

• Act as a trusted advisor during customer workshops, solution evaluations and key design discussions.

Delivery Architecture and Governance

• Own solution architecture across active projects and programmes, ensuring integrity across modules, workstreams, interfaces and third-party systems.

• Evaluate architectural options systematically against cost, risk, scalability and client fit, then make and defend design decisions.

• Govern build quality, resolve escalated design issues and protect the target architecture through testing, deployment and hypercare.

• Ensure alignment between business requirements, solution design and delivery outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

ERP Practice Leadership

• Lead and line manage the ERP practice, including objectives, appraisals and capability development.

• Mentor and grow the next layer of architects and senior consultants.

• Set technical standards, reusable assets, methodologies and design review practices across engagements.

• Support recruitment, onboarding and the development of ERP consulting capabilities within Westernacher Malaysia.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related discipline.

• More than 10 years of SAP experience, with deep hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA MM and SD.

• Proven cross-module and integration architecture experience across multiple systems.

• Full-lifecycle track record, from pre-sales through design, implementation, testing, go-live and hypercare, across several implementations.

• Consulting background with strong client-facing presence, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Systematic, options-based analytical thinking and the ability to make and defend architectural decisions.

• Demonstrated line management, mentoring or technical leadership of consulting teams
