Job summary

Mettler Toledo seeks a Team Lead for Customer Data Stewardship to guide data quality and governance across AP and EU shifts. You will lead the team, manage escalations, and collaborate with Data Governance to improve data practices. English fluency, SAP experience, and strong analytical skills are essential.

The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, performance tracking against SLAs, and recruitment planning to maintain effective data operations in a global environment.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in data management, data analysis, or related field.
• 2–3 years of leadership and team management within an SAP environment.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Customer Data Steward team to achieve data quality and governance objectives.
• Manage team scheduling, shift coverage and handovers across AP and EU shifts to ensure continuity of service.
• Define, monitor and report team performance against SLAs and KPIs and present results to management.
• Own escalation management for complex data requests and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, and participate in recruitment and capacity planning.
• Foster relationships between local units and shared business center for consistent data practices.
• Collaborate with Data Governance to resolve data issues and improve data management processes.
• Ensure adherence to data governance policies and business rules across the team.
