Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Market Data Lead to drive local data migration, MDM deployment, and data governance. You will oversee data cleansing, validation, and ownership, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions and data integrity.

The role requires a strong SAP S/4HANA migration background (ECC to S/4, CPG preferred) and familiarity with ETL tools or Python, with willingness to travel during deployment phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree required.
• Strong background in SAP S/4HANA data migrations (ECC to S/4, CPG preferred).
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as SAP Data Services or Python.
• Willingness to travel during deployment phases.

Responsibilities

• Data Ownership & Scope: Own the market-specific Data Object Scope, map local master data to the global data model, and ensure local data owners and MDM roles are assigned and trained.
• Migration & Quality Leadership: Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute data transformation and cleansing, resolving quality issues like duplicates or incorrect mappings alongside functional SMEs.
• Testing & Cutover: Lead data validation and sign-offs during mock loads, migration testing, and cutover rehearsals, translating defect analysis into actionable rule improvements.
• Hypercare & Reporting: Provide on-site hypercare support for post-go-live data incidents, mitigate data risks, and maintain status transparency with key stakeholders.
