Job summary

LAVU TECH SOLUTIONS SDN. BHD. is seeking a data migration and MDM specialist to own market data scope, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive end-to-end data migration activities. You will lead data quality efforts, resolve data issues, and ensure alignment with the global data model.

Job description

• Serve as the market's primary contact for all data migration and master data management (MDM) deployment activities.
• Own the market-specific data scope and ensure accountability from local data owners.
• Coordinate business, IT, and vendor teams to execute end-to-end data migration, including data cleansing, enrichment, transformation, and documentation.
• Lead local data quality efforts, resolve data issues, and align master data with the global data model.
• Ensure MDM roles are assigned and trained before go-live.
• Support testing, mock loads, cutover rehearsals, hypercare activities, and stakeholder reporting.
• Identify and mitigate data-related risks while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the market's primary contact for all data migration and master data management (MDM) deployment activities.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of local master data structures, ownership, governance, and business processes.
• Proven experience in data migration, data cleansing, and SAP S/4HANA transformation projects, preferably within the CPG industry.
• Familiarity with data profiling, data quality management, ETL tools (e.g., SAP Data Services), and metadata management.
• Practical experience with Python and data-related tools is desirable.
• Knowledge of data privacy, regulatory compliance, and local data governance requirements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Agile, proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English and willing to travel to support deployment activities.
