Job summary
Randstad Malaysia is recruiting a SAP ABAP technical consultant/developer to design, develop, and maintain backend ABAP solutions. You will build integration scenarios using SOAP, OData, and IDoc, and contribute to data migration and carve-out projects from concept to go-live.
The role involves collaboration with functional consultants to translate business processes into technical solutions, with emphasis on ABAP OO, CDS, RAP, and SAP UI5 where applicable.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of SAP ABAP experience in implementation or support (L3)
- At least 1 full cycle end-to-end implementation project regionally or globally
- Experience in ABAP OO / CDS / RAP is an added advantage
- Experience with SAP GUI Development / SAP AIF / Fiori / CAP / SAP UI5 is an added advantage
- Experience with SOAP / OData / IDoc is an added advantage
- Leadership experience is an added advantage but not compulsory
- Experience from a consulting firm is preferred (end user also welcome)

about the manager/team
You will work with different stakeholders, liasing with Project Manager, Key Business Users, Business Analyst, Functional & other Technical Consultants for SAP ABAP within project implementation, enhancement / support role. As a SAP ABAP technical consultant / developer, you will be responsible for support, enhancement & development of SAP modules from technical / ABAP perspective.
about the requirements:
- Someone who has at least 5 years of experience in either SAP ABAP within implementation project and/or support (L3) is an added but not compulsory.
- Someone with at least 1 full cycle end-to-end implementation projects on a regional or global basis is an added but not compulsary.
- Those with experience in either one of these languages / tech stacks ; ABAP OO / CDS / RAP is an added advantage but not compulsary.
- Those with experience in either one of these front end tools ; SAP GUI Development / SAP AIF / Fiori / CAP / SAP UI5 is added advantage but not compulsary (this is still a back end developer role, not full stack or front end).
- Someone with experience in either one of these middleware tools ; SOAP / OData / IDoc is an added advantage but not compulsary (this is still a back end developer role, not an integration role).
- Someone with at leadership experience is an added advantage but not compulsary (this is individual contributor role).
- Someone from consulting firm is mostly sought after (end user is also welcome to apply).
about the salary & benefits
- Only for MALAYSIAN or those that do not require VISA to work in Msia
- up to RM 17,000 can be increased to experienced consultant who already earned more
