Job summary

Luzi (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented person to support fragrance sample preparation and lab operations in Kulai, Johor. You'll handle requests, prepare and label samples, track fragrance oils, and ensure on-time dispatch with proper documentation.

Role requires basic English, SPM/ Diploma in Science, and familiarity with Word/Excel. Training and safety adherence are part of daily duties. Opportunities exist for career growth in a scientific support function.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in Science or related field
• Basic English for reading instructions and simple communication
• Basic IT skills including Word and Excel
• Experience in sampling, packing, or general laboratory work (advantage)

Responsibilities

• Handle daily fragrance sample requests from Perfumery, Evaluation, and Sales teams
• Prepare fragrance samples accurately according to required specifications
• Label and code samples correctly to maintain traceability
• Track and record the quantity of fragrance oils and update the information in the system accordingly
• Pack samples securely according to internal packing standards
• Coordinate with sales support team for dispatch
• Ensure samples are delivered to customers on time and with proper documentation
• Manage the Kardex where fragrance oils are stored
• Track and monitor oil shelf life, expiry dates, and storage conditions
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the sampling area

Job description

Handling daily fragrance sample preparation, lab organization, oil replenishment, and sample dispatch. The role ensures samples are accurately prepared, labeled, and delivered on time to customers and sales team. The position also includes responsibility for managing fragrance oil storage (Kardex system), ensuring proper stock rotation, and discarding expired oils according to safety and quality procedures.

Key responsibilities

Handle daily sample requests from Perfumery, Evaluation, and Sales teams

Prepare fragrance samples accurately according to required specifications

Label and code samples correctly to maintain traceability

Track and record the quantity of fragrance oils and update the information in the system accordingly

Pack samples securely according to internal packing standards

Coordinate with sales support team for dispatch

Ensure samples are delivered to customers on time and with proper documentation

Manage the Kardex where fragrance oils are stored

Track and monitor oil shelf life, expiry dates, and storage conditions

Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the sampling area
