Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a meticulous Lab Sample Preparation Assistant to support daily fragrance sample production and dispatch. You will manage fragrance oil storage, labeling, and Kardex stock control while ensuring safety procedures and timely delivery to customers and sales teams.

Responsibilities include preparing samples per specifications, tracking oil shelf life, packing samples securely, and maintaining a clean sampling area. Diploma holders in Science encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sample prep.
• Good organization and time management for multiple tasks.
• Able to follow SOPs and safety rules without supervision.
• Able to handle fragrance oils and lab sampling tools safely.
• Minimum SPM or Diploma in Science or related field preferred.
• Basic English for reading instructions and simple communication.

• Track and monitor oil shelf life, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the sampling area.

Handling daily fragrance sample preparation, lab organization, oil replenishment, and sample dispatch. The role ensures samples are accurately prepared, labeled, and delivered on time to customers and sales team. The position also includes responsibility for managing fragrance oil storage (Kardex system), ensuring proper stock rotation, and discarding expired oils according to safety and quality procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily sample requests from Perfumery, Evaluation, and Sales teams
• Prepare fragrance samples accurately according to required specifications

• Pack samples securely according to internal packing standards
