Malabar Gold & Diamonds is seeking a Retail Sales Executive/Sales Associate to join its showroom teams in Malaysia. You will greet customers, understand preferences, and present jewelry offerings while driving sales targets.

You should have 1–2 years in jewelry or luxury retail, strong communication skills, and a professional demeanor. This role is based in-stores with responsibility for stock, displays, and customer relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail sales experience (jewelry/luxury preferred).

A retail sales executive will be a key part of the showroom sales team responsible for delivering excellent customer service and achieving sales targets. Typical duties include:

Greet and assist walk-in customers; understand their requirements and preferences.

Present and explain jewelry products (gold, diamonds, precious gems).

Facilitate customer buying decisions and complete sales transactions accurately.

Achieve assigned sales targets.

Manage stock — daily count, opening/closing records, and reorder reporting.

Ensure attractive product displays and maintain store hygiene standards.

Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.

Support marketing activities, events, and customer exhibitions.

Refer potential customers and build strong client relationships.

Follow company protocols for safety, cash-handling, and inventory control.
