The role requires on-site work in Kuala Lumpur, with flexibility for weekend hours and extended sales shifts as needed to meet targets and deliver outstanding customer service in line with the brand.

Role Description

The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur. This role focuses on engaging prospective customers, understanding their mobility needs, and presenting smart’s electric vehicle offerings, features, and benefits. Day-to-day tasks include welcoming showroom visitors, conducting product demonstrations, providing test drive support, and managing the sales process from initial inquiry through to vehicle delivery. The Sales Specialist will follow up on leads, prepare proposals, handle documentation, and maintain accurate records in the sales system. The role also involves collaborating with the sales management team on promotional activities, participating in training sessions, and consistently delivering high-quality customer service aligned with smart Glenmarie – EON’s brand standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively engage with diverse customers and build long-term relationships.
• Proven Sales experience, with the ability to convert inquiries into closed deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Sales Management and Training capabilities to support sales initiatives, contribute to team development, and follow structured sales processes.
• Interest in electric vehicles, automotive technology, and sustainable mobility solutions.
• Ability to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur, including weekends or extended hours when required.
• Solid organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
• Comfort using CRM systems and digital tools for lead management and customer follow-up.
• Relevant experience in automotive sales or retail sales is preferred; a diploma or degree in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
