Job summary

Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad seeks a motivated Sales Advisor with a strong interest in automotive sales, especially EVs. You will guide customers through the car-buying journey, provide expert EV knowledge, and deliver an exceptional showroom and test-drive experience.

You will engage customers, explain EV features, conduct demonstrations, and stay updated on EV incentives and trends while aiming to meet sales targets and maintain showroom presentation.

• Open to SPM leavers.
• Experience in motor trade sales is preferred.
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, target driven and passionate about sales.

Responsibilities

• Engage with walk-in and online customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicles.
• Promote and sell electric and conventional cars with focus on EV features and ownership experience.
• Explain technical aspects of EVs including range, charging options, maintenance and cost savings.
• Conduct test drives and product demonstrations.
• Stay updated on EV trends, incentives and competitor offerings.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Meet individual sales targets and contribute to branch targets.
• Maintain showroom standards and ensure vehicles are well-presented.

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Advisor with a strong interest in automotive sales, particularly electric vehicles (EVs). The ideal candidate will guide customers through the car-buying journey, provide expert knowledge on EV technology, and deliver an exceptional showroom and test-drive experience.If you’re passionate about sales and love connecting with people, this role is perfect for you!

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Basic Pay + Good Commission

Job Responsibilities:

• Engage with walk-in and online customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicles
• Promote and sell both electric and conventional cars, with a focus on EV features, benefits, and ownership experience
• Explain technical aspects of electric vehicles, including battery range, charging options, maintenance, and cost savings
• Conduct test drives and product demonstrations
• Stay updated on the latest EV trends, incentives, and competitor offerings
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
• Comply with the company’s guidelines and procedures
• Provide a consistently high level and memorable customer service
• Achieve individual sales target and contribute to the branch sales target
• Maintain showroom standards and ensure vehicles are well-presented
• Experience selling electric or hybrid vehicles
• Knowledge of EV charging infrastructure.
