Job summary

UPC Chemicals (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a results-driven sales professional in Kuantan to manage client relationships, negotiate terms, and close deals.

You will lead product introductions, present technical solutions, and tailor recommendations to customer needs. Responsibilities include forecasting sales, planning strategies, tracking KPI's, and coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably more than 5 years experience in sales.
• International trade and sales experience.
• Experience in industrial chemical/commodity products is an advantage.
• Proactive, responsible, team player with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and resolve sales related issues proactively.
• Lead the negotiation process with prospects, ensuring mutually beneficial pricing and contract terms.
• Research and evaluate prospects within the industry to identify sales opportunities.
• Conduct product introductions, presentations, and technical discussions with prospective clients.
• Analyze past sales trends and market data to forecast sales performance.
• Develop sales plans and strategies to achieve short and long term goals.
• Prepare regular reports on sales progress, market trends, and competitor analysis.
• Set and achieve individual sales targets, track KPIs, and adjust strategies to meet objectives.
• Perform sales related documentations, order processing, and coordination of activities.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Job description

1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and resolve sales related issues proactively.

2. Lead the negotiation process with prospects, ensuring mutually beneficial pricing and

contract terms. Handle inquiries, address concerns, and close deals effectively.

3. Research and evaluate prospects within the industry to identify sales opportunities.

4. Conduct product introductions, presentations, and technical discussions with prospective clients. Provide tailored recommendations and solutions that meet customer needs, while positioning company products effectively.

5. Analyze past sales trends and mar ket data to forecast sales performance. Develop sales

plans and strategies to achieve short and long term goals, ensuring alignment with

company objectives.

6. Prepare regular reports on sales progress, market trends, customer feedback, and competitor analysis. Collect, analyse, and summarize relevant data to inform sales strategies.

7. Set and achieve individual sales targets, track KPIs , and adjust strategies to meet business

objectives. Support team success by contributing to common sales goals.

8. Performing sales related documentations, assisting with administrative duties, order processing, and coordination of sales activities.

9. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

10. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor, as necessary, to meet the evolving needs of the business.

Job Requirement:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent.

2. Preferably more than 5 years experiences in sales.

4. International trade and sales experience.

5. Experienced in industrial chemical/ commodity product will be an advantage.

6. Proactive, responsible, team player and leadership.

7. Language: Malay, English, Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders. Tamil and Cantonese would be an added advantage.
