Job summary

UYEMURA (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Sales Representative in Penang to identify and acquire new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. You will educate customers on chemical products, present technical concepts, and negotiate contracts to close deals.

The role requires knowledge of chemical products, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to coordinate with China-based engineers on site. Mandarin knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Sales Representative in the chemical industry.
• Knowledge of chemical products and industry trends.

• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
• BS/BA degree in Chemistry or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred, as the position involves coordination with China based engineers on site.

Responsibilities

• Participating in trade shows, conventions, seminars, and other industry events to increase product awareness and cultivate customer relationships.
• Working with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of products.
