About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Sales Representative (Frozen Seafood) to join our dynamic sales team at Asia Aquaculture (M) Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our business development efforts, responsible for driving sales growth and building strong client relationships within the frozen seafood market. You will play a crucial part in expanding our market presence and achieving our ambitious sales targets whilst representing our premium frozen seafood products to customers across various sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospecting and pursue new business opportunities within the frozen seafood sector
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction
• Present and demonstrate frozen seafood products to customers, highlighting quality, freshness and value propositions
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms and contracts with clients to secure sales orders
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations tailored to client requirements
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer preferences to inform sales strategies
• Coordinate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
• Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions and pipeline opportunities using CRM systems
• Attend industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities to generate leads and raise brand awareness
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics on a consistent basis

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of success in sales, with at least 1-2 years' experience in a similar sales representative or consultancy role, ideally within the food, seafood or FMCG sector
• Strong understanding of the frozen seafood industry, supply chain and customer requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clientele
• Results-driven mindset with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to travel regularly to meet clients and attend industry events within the Klang Valley region and beyond
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently whilst collaborating effectively with team members
• Valid driving licence and reliable personal transport
• Diploma or degree qualification in business, sales, marketing or a related field is preferred
