Job summary

OCBC Group is seeking a detail-oriented analyst to support the Sales Performance team in Kuala Lumpur. You will deliver daily sales performance reporting, assist with forecasting, and help ensure data integrity across multiple markets.

The role offers exposure to predictive analytics and audit-compliant processes within a dynamic, regional banking environment. You will work with SAS, SQL, Python and Excel to analyze data, generate insights for senior management, and contribute to strategic

Qualifications

Diploma in Finance / Accountancy / Economics / Data Analytics.
Good technical skills SAS, MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, VBA, Python.
Data Warehousing knowledge is a plus.
Professional maturity, results orientation and good communication skills.
Some business partnering experience will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate and timely support for daily sales performance reporting and ad-hoc MI requests.
Understand operational flow and identify key operational risk areas.
Document procedure changes to ensure audit compliance.
Assist with day-to-day activities for Sales Performance across OCBC markets.
Assist with data analysis, validation and feature engineering for Raw datasets.
Assist with User Acceptance Testing when required.
Analyze performance data to generate insights for senior management.
Develop forecasting models using predictive analytics for sales across channels.
