Job summary

Sculptureatwork in Kuala Lumpur seeks a dynamic Sales & Marketing professional to identify and develop sculpture fabrication opportunities across entertainment, hospitality, commercial, and property sectors. You will engage architects, designers, developers, event organizers, and business owners, delivering proposals and pitches to win projects.

The role involves content creation for social platforms, monitoring engagement, and coordinating marketing materials.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Fresh graduate encouraged to apply.
• 1–3 years in sales, business development, or marketing (art/design/fabrication a plus).

Job description

• Identify, approach, and develop new business/sales opportunities for sculpture fabrication and consultancy projects across entertainment, hospitality, commercial, and property development sectors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, including architects, interior designers, property developers, event organizers, and business owners
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and sales pitches showcasing the company's fabrication capabilities and portfolio
• Follow up on leads, negotiate terms, and close sales to meet monthly/quarterly targets
• Plan, create, and schedule engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) to showcase sculptural works, behind-the-scenes fabrication process, and completed installations
• Monitor social media performance and engagement, and suggest improvements to grow brand awareness
• Assist in coordinating marketing materials, project portfolios, and promotional campaigns
• Represent the company at networking events, art exhibitions, trade shows, or client meetings
• Work closely with the design and fabrication team to understand project capabilities, materials, and processes to translate them into compelling sales/marketing messaging
• Maintain sales records, client databases, and prepare regular sales/marketing reports
• Stay updated on trends in sculptural art, fabrication techniques, and the broader design/art industry to identify new business opportunities

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Fine Arts, or related field
• Fresh graduate is encourage to apply.
• 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing (experience in art, design, fabrication, or the creative industry is a strong plus)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Genuine interest or appreciation for art, sculpture, and craftsmanship
• Creative mindset with basic content creation skills (photography/videography/copywriting knowledge is an advantage)
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content scheduling tools (e.g., Canva, etc.)
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus)
• Own transport and willingness to travel for client meetings/site visits
• Based in or willing to work in Kuala Lumpur
