Job summary

Techbond is seeking a Sales Engineer / Sales Manager / Sales Assistant Manager in Shah Alam, Malaysia, to drive new business and renewals with existing customers. You will provide product knowledge, arrange trials, and support the sales team to meet targets.

Success depends on building strong customer relationships, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and delivering timely sales forecasts and reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers.
• Lead, support, and motivate the Sales Team to achieve objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements; provide reports and recommendations to management.
• Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
• Provide technical advice, product knowledge, and arrange trials or demonstrations as required.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing enquiries, quotations, and credit matters promptly.
• Ensure accurate and updated customer records in SAP and oversee sales administration processes.
• Coordinate and participate in sales training, trade fairs, and promotional events.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer service.

The Sales Engineer / Sales Manager / Sales Assistant Manager is responsible for selling into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success.
