Role Description

The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bahagian Sibu, responsible for driving sales growth and managing customer relationships for TCIM Sdn Bhd’s equipment portfolio. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, visiting customers, preparing proposals and quotations, and conducting product presentations and demonstrations. The Sales Manager will negotiate contracts, monitor market trends and competitors, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and timely delivery. Daily tasks include maintaining a sales pipeline, reporting sales performance, and developing sales strategies to meet and exceed targets. The role also requires providing after-sales follow-up, coordinating with service teams on customer issues, and upholding high standards of customer satisfaction and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in sales or business development, preferably in industrial equipment, machinery, or related sectors.
• Strong customer relationship management skills, including the ability to engage, influence, and retain clients over the long term.
• Solid negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical products in clear, practical terms.
• Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop sales strategies to achieve defined targets.
• Comfort working on-site and in the field, including visiting customer locations and handling product demonstrations.
• Proficiency with basic office and sales tools (e.g., MS Office, CRM systems) and ability to produce accurate reports and documentation.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience in sales of machinery or equipment will be considered.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Bahagian Sibu and surrounding areas as required.
