Job summary

Dorsett Hatmas Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive sales professional to drive government accounts and corporate collaborations in the hotel sector. You will plan campaigns, prepare budgets and targets, and implement action plans across market areas to maximise revenue and visibility.

In this role you will conduct regular sales calls, arrange site inspections for corporate clients, identify new markets, and collaborate with all hotel departments to ensure unified goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Hotel or any other relevant industry preferred
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing Government sales, promotions and campaigns.
• Prepare sales budgets, projections and set sales target.
• Implements all sales action plan according to market areas as outline in the Marketing Plan.
• Plan and execute sales trips to major market areas and also new potential area
• Conducts daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients
• Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities
• Participate in weekly/monthly Sales & Marketing
• Manages and develops relationship with key internal and external stakeholders to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunity
• Maintain professional business confidentially, high standard of professionalism, ethics and attitudes to words hotel guests, client an associate
• Supervises sales incentive plan, providing all participants with regular updates on performance.
• Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
• Work closely with all department throughout the hotel to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve same goals
