Accion Labs Sdn. Bhd. is offering a Sales & Business Development Intern role in Malaysia. You will collaborate with Sales and BD teams and gain hands-on exposure to IT services and technology business development.

The internship involves researching target clients, supporting lead generation, updating CRM data, preparing client materials, and assisting with RFP/RFI activities. A focus on outbound communication and sales reporting will be essential.

Job description

As a Sales & Business Development Intern, you will work closely with the Sales and Business Development teams and gain practical exposure to IT services and technology business development.

Key responsibilities

Supporting the Sales and Business Development team in identifying and researching potential clients and business opportunities

Conducting market research to identify target industries, companies and prospective customers

Supporting lead generation and prospect identification through online research, databases and other relevant sources

Maintaining and updating prospect and client information in CRM systems and internal databases

Assisting with outbound communication and follow-ups with prospective clients through email, LinkedIn and other professional channels

Supporting the preparation of client presentations, company profiles, proposals and sales-related materials

Assisting the team with RFP/RFI and proposal-related activities

Coordinating meetings between prospective clients and the Sales / Business Development team

Supporting preparation of sales reports, dashboards and MIS

Tracking leads, opportunities and follow-up activities and ensuring information is updated accurately
