Job summary

MDIS Malaysia International College is seeking a Recruitment Executive to drive local student recruitment and implement MDIS Marketing plans in Johor. You will manage recruitment targets, oversee agencies, and research new recruitment sources while promoting MDIS programs across Malaysia.

The role requires coordinating events, maintaining CRM data, and collaborating with internal teams; willingness to travel and strong English/ Mandarin skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience; local/domestic student recruitment preferred.
• Experience handling sales representatives or channels; build rapport with internal & external stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate with large representatives for events and promotions.
• Be meticulous with planning and operational management.
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin a plus.

• Develop and implement local recruitment strategies to meet targets.
• Promote MDIS Malaysia’s programs to prospective students and partners.
• Manage recruitment agencies and investigate new recruitment sources in Malaysia.
• Organize recruitment events and exhibitions; maintain CRM data and campaigns.
• Monitor regional performance and provide market intelligence on recruitment trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams on referrals and marketing initiatives.

Job description

Maximize profits through Local/domestic student recruitment & developing sale strategies that match educational requirements by promoting MDIS Malaysia’s program, product, services and/or ideas.

Manage and work towards achieving assigned student recruitment target.

Overseeing & developing recruitment representative and/or agencies in Malaysia.

Conducting research & collecting data to identify new sources of student recruitment.

Devising & presenting ideas & strategies of MDIS Marketing Plan & Calendar.

Compiling and feedback on market recruitment trends, intelligence and competitor analysis.

Campaigning and handle social and/or digital media recruitment channels on assigned region.

Organizing educational and recruitment events and exhibitions.

Updating databases and using a customer relationship management (CRM) system.

Coordinating internal marketing and student recruitment referral systems.

Monitoring performance of assigned Malaysia states/schools or campaign.

Qualifications/Skill Required

• Professional Certificate or Diploma (relevant background or experience will be an added advantage).
• Successful track record of sales experience (experience in local/domestic student recruitment) and a minimum of 2 years work experience will be an added advantage).
• Knowledge in handling sales representatives or channel and develop good rapports with both internal & external stakeholders.
• Knowledge in coordinating with large representatives for events & promotions.
• Be meticulous & demonstrate good planning and operational management.
• Knowledge of planning sales exhibitions fairs & conduct business previews for local/domestic events.
• Outspoken & willing to work on off hours (if required).
• Willing to travel for work & also the patience in dealing with local/domestic customers.
• Proficiency in both Mandarin and English spoken will be an added advantage
• Fresh graduates from Professional Certificate or Diploma are encouraged to apply

About Us

MDIS Malaysia International College is the second overseas campus of the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS). MDIS Malaysia International College was the first Private Education Institution (PEI) of Singapore to make its foray into EduCity lskandar, Johor when MDIS signed the landmark deal with EduCity lskandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd in 2010. The RM300 million project is being carried out in three phases: the first will allow the campus to cater to some 2,000 students, with the goal to cater to over 10,000 students upon completion of its third phase.
