Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Pasona Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales Executive to manage Modern Trade and General Trade sales and drive business development for a Japanese FMCG food trading and distribution client in Malaysia. The role requires at least 3 years of sales experience, familiarity with distributor management, and the ability to travel as needed.

Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel is preferred, and candidates must have their own transport.

Responsibilities

• Manage distributors' sales performance, inventory, daily operations and issue resolution to ensure product availability.
• Coach distributor sales teams, provide product training, sales guidance and field support.
• Prepare and analyze monthly sales, market and business reports using Excel and PowerPoint to support decision-making.
• Monitor market intelligence, customer feedback, competitor activities and industry trends to identify growth opportunities and adjust sales strategies.
• Coordinate marketing and sales activation activities including roadshows, exhibitions, product launches and promotions with internal teams and distributors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managed distributors' sales performance, inventory, daily operations, and issue resolution to ensure product availability and business efficiency.
• Conducted market visits, coached distributor sales teams, and provided product training, sales guidance, and field support.
• Prepared and analyzed monthly sales, market, and business reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to support decision-making.
• Monitored market intelligence, customer feedback, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities and improve sales strategies.
• Coordinated marketing and sales activation activities, including roadshows, exhibitions, product launches, and promotions, while collaborating with internal teams and distributors to achieve business objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience and Minimum qualification: SPM or equivalent.
• Experience in distributor management is an added advantage.
• Possess basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
• Must possess own transportation and a valid car or motorcycle driving licence.
• Must be willing to travel, including overnight trips, when required
