Job summary

Qualifications

• At least SPM/O-Level or equivalent; higher secondary or diploma preferred.
• Minimum 2 years sales experience in related industries.
• Willing to travel for customer visits.
• Must possess valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits and product presentations.
• Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
• Follow up on quotations, enquiries and customer orders.
• Negotiate prices and commercial terms within company guidelines.
• Monitor customer requirements, market trends and competitor activities.
• Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing and accounts for smooth order fulfilment.
• Handle customer complaints and follow up on issues professionally.
• Participate in exhibitions and promotional activities.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.

Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.

Conduct regular customer visits and product presentations.

Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.

Follow up on quotations, enquiries and customer orders.

Negotiate prices and commercial terms with customers within company guidelines.

Monitor customer requirements, market trends and competitor activities.

Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates to management.

Coordinate with the warehouse, purchasing and accounts departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

Handle customer complaints and follow up on issues professionally.

Participate in exhibitions, promotional activities and company events when required.

Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, any field.

Minimum 2 years of sales experience.

Experience in F&B, FMCG, food distribution, wholesale or related industries is an advantage.

Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Results-oriented and motivated to achieve sales targets.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Willing to travel for customer visits.

Possess a valid driving licence.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Mandarin or Japanese language skills will be an added advantage.
