Job summary

CARLSBERG BREWERY MALAYSIA is seeking a proactive field sales professional to promote and sell our beverage portfolio to outlets across the region. You will build strong relationships with store customers, forecast sales, and collaborate with Marketing to deliver compelling promotions.

The role requires at least a diploma, 1 year FMCG field sales, good communication and IT skills, and a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma in any field.
• At least 1 year field sales experience in FMCG.
• Demonstrated passion for sales with a proven track record.
• Good understanding of sales techniques.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Driven, outgoing and a self-starter.
• Must possess a valid full driving license; GDL an advantage.
• Willing to be transferred and mobile for assignments.

Job description

Delivers sales volume achievement and market share by developing strong business partnerships with customers in stores.

Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell our portfolio of products to outlets/customers for stores.
• Evaluate and anticipate needs of the outlets/customers, recommend win-win solutions and build productive long lasting relationships.
• Forecast sales & trends and develop more effective sales plans to deliver on Sales strategies.
• Actively look for opportunities and follow up on sales leads.
• Work closely with Marketing to execute top-notch promotions and activation.
• Constantly maintain highest standards of execution and ensure brand presence & product availability.
• Gather insights and feedback on market trends to improve Sales performance.
• Undertake any additional duties or responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM/Diploma in any field.
• At least 1 year field sales experience preferably in an FMCG environment.
• Highly passionate about sales; with a proven track record is best.
• Has a good understanding of different sales techniques.
• Strong communication, negotiation/influencing and interpersonal skills.
• Driven, outgoing and is a self-starter.
• Comfortable with numbers and is IT literate (Microsoft Excel, etc).
• Must possess a valid full driving license. A Goods Driver's License (GDL) is an added advantage.
• Mobile and must be prepared to be transferred.
