Job summary

Ambition, a Kuala Lumpur-based leader in business events and exhibitions, seeks sales and marketing professionals at Executive and Manager levels to drive revenue and growth.

You will own a commercial portfolio, manage pipelines via CRM and LinkedIn, and negotiate with diverse clients from local to international, while collaborating with marketing to align campaigns and lead generation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• 1–4 years (Executive) or 5–8 years (Manager) of B2B event sales or sponsorship experience.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills with client engagement at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Own a commercial portfolio including exhibition space, sponsorships and integrated marketing packages.
• Maintain a well-structured pipeline through proactive outreach, CRM, LinkedIn, and referrals.
• Present to and negotiate with local and international clients from proposal through to close.
• Partner with the marketing team to align campaigns with lead generation objectives and build lasting client relationships.

The Role

Here's what you'll be owning day to day:

• Taking ownership of a commercial portfolio spanning exhibition space, sponsorships, and integrated marketing packages
• Keeping a well-structured pipeline moving through proactive outreach, CRM management, LinkedIn, and referral networks
• Presenting to and negotiating with a diverse mix of local and international clients, from proposal through to close
• Partnering with the marketing team to ensure campaign activity is closely aligned with lead generation objectives
• Building lasting client relationships through attentive post-sale support and proactive account management

What We're Looking For

You'll be a strong fit if you have:

• A relevant academic background at Diploma or Degree level in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Between 1-4 years (Executive) or 5-8 years (Manager) of B2B event sales or sponsorship experience
• Confident negotiation and presentation skills, with ease engaging clients at all levels
• A tenacious, target-driven approach - energetic, articulate, and motivated by results
