Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Sales/Business Development professional to manage client contracts, identify new business opportunities, and provide technical material solutions for solar and semiconductor sectors.
You will maintain relationships with existing accounts, prepare professional quotations, and coordinate with engineering to ensure custom parts meet client blueprints. Strong multilingual communication is essential.

1) Commercial Documentation:Manage and maintain client contracts, sales records, and business documentation in full compliance with company and regulatory standards.
2) Business Development:Identify and engage potential clients in the solar cell manufacturing and semiconductor wafer processing sectors.
3) Technical Consultation:Understand client specifications for specialized components (e.g., heaters, electrodes, and shrouds) and provide tailored material solutions.
4) Relationship Management:Maintain and grow existing accounts by ensuring high levels of service and technical support.
5) Market Analysis:Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and raw material price fluctuations (e.g., graphite, specialty ceramics).
6) Quotation & Negotiation:Prepare professional quotations, negotiate delivery terms (FOB/CIF/DDP), and manage the sales cycle from inquiry to "EA" (Each) delivery.
7) Collaboration:Work closely with the engineering team to ensure custom-designed parts meet client blueprints and quality standards.
8) Policy & Procedure Maintenance:Update and maintain internal commercial procedures, sales handbooks, and operational policies to ensure team alignment.
9) External Stakeholder Liaison:Act as the primary point of contact for government authorities, auditors, company secretaries, and external consultants regarding administrative and commercial matters.
10) Internal Engagement & Training:Coordinate staff training sessions, product knowledge workshops, and corporate events to foster a high-performance sales culture.
11) Data Privacy & Confidentiality:Ensure the highest level of security and confidentiality for proprietary company data, client information, and trade secrets.
12) Process Optimization:Proactively assist management in identifying and implementing administrative improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
13) Ad-hoc Project Support:Execute additional strategic tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Management to support evolving business needs.
Entry Requirements1) Minimum Degree in Bachelor of Engineering, Business Administration & Management, or related.
2) Minimum 2-5 years of proven experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management. Background in a startup or manufacturing environment—particularly within the Semiconductor or Solar sectors is highly preferred. Proactive fresh graduates with a strong technical aptitude are also encouraged to apply.
3) Excellent written and oral communication skills in English/Mandarin/Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin language is added advantage.
4) Good interpersonal (teamwork) and soft skills.
5) Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex sales documentation, track lead pipelines, and coordinate administrative tasks with proactive efficiency.
6) Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and perform well under deadlines.
7) Experienced in managing commercial contracts, coordinating sales documentation, and acting as a primary liaison with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and service providers.
8) Capable of driving cross-functional coordination, specifically bridging sales with logistics and finance to ensure seamless order processing and accurate commercial documentation.
9) Proficient with MS office. Experience with HR or payroll systems will be an added advantage.
