Job summary

Air Liquide Malaysia is seeking a proactive Sales professional to develop profitability for a portfolio of accounts in Johor Bahru and beyond. You will manage long sales cycles, build strong client relationships and sign new contracts to expand regional market share.

You will negotiate terms, identify upsell opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize resources while delivering exceptional customer experience and measurable business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 0 to 5 years in commercial sales; fresh engineers welcome with keen interest in technical sales.
• Experience in technical sales, industrial solutions, or engineering equipment is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and GM/OI level for bulk regional sales and secure new contracts.
• Manage long sales cycles with emphasis on delivering strong customer experience.
• Conduct contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
• Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to grow revenue.
• Oversee accounts as primary contact for clients and promptly address inquiries and concerns.
• Balance customer satisfaction with profitability through optimized resource allocation.
• Report market intelligence and sales activity via client visits and meetings.

Develop Sales & Profitability for a number of accounts

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• To achieves sales target, GM level & OI Level for bulk sales of the region, with new contract signing
• Manage activity long sales cycle to ensure strong customer experience
• Conduct contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that support long-term partnerships.
• Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to increase revenue and market share.
• Oversee account as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Ensure proper balance between customer satisfaction and profitability though optimized allocation and use of available resources.
• Reporting on market intelligence and opportunity with sales activity reporting via customer visit, meeting, networking.

Are you a MATCH?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 0 to 5 years of commercial sales experience; fresh engineering graduates with a keen interest in technical sales are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience in technical sales, industrial solutions, or engineering equipment is an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented with a proactive drive to achieve sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
