Job summary

HQ Pack Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Sales Engineer with a basic technical background to support service and manage existing accounts while pursuing new prospects. You will respond to RFQs, collaborate with in-house engineers and customer service to deliver solutions, and work toward achieving sales targets.

The role requires a diploma in engineering/marketing/business, reading engineering drawings, and 2-3 years in sales.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or marketing/business discipline.
• Prefer 2-3 years in sales and commercial activities.
• Able to read engineering drawing and BOM structure.
• Prior semiconductor industry experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English; tri-lingual ability is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal with people at all levels.
• High attention to detail and meticulous in a consistent manner.
• Initiative and self-motivated.
• Willingness to travel when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Service and manage existing accounts and respond timely on RFQ.
• Collaborate with in-house engineers and customer service to provide solutions to customer enquiries and requirements.
• Manage existing accounts and new prospects to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
• Maintain and improve service quality by enforcing sales standards and timely responses.
• Regularly report customer and competitor activity.
• Communicate with a high level of information accuracy and professional communication.
• Other duties as assigned by superior.
