Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks a Sales Engineer to drive Electric Motor & Drives solutions across regional markets. You will develop new accounts, tailor technical presentations, and align products to customer needs while building long-term relationships.

The role requires 2–3 years in engineering sales, a relevant degree, strong English, and willingness to travel with a monthly commission and annual bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of working experience and a proven sales record for engineering products, specifically Electric Motor & Drives.
• Good command of English in writing, speaking and reading.

Responsibilities

• Develop new accounts and open new markets within the assigned country for Electric Motor & Drives solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospects.
• Consult with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements, including planning and modifying products to meet customer needs.
• Help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with prospective and existing customers.
• Persuade customers on the excellence of our products and services.
• Establish a customer database and tools to manage sales activities, opportunities and pipeline.
• Prepare monthly sales reports, annual sales targets and yearly market planning.
