Job summary

Anradus Pte. Ltd. in Penang is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales of steel stiffeners to developers, main contractors and sub-contractors.

You will build new accounts, nurture relationships with architects and C&S consultancies, and support project-based sales with engineers and stakeholders.

The role requires a Diploma or degree in civil, mechanical engineering, architecture, or marketing, 2–3 years in sales within construction products, and willingness to travel Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or Marketing.
• 2–3 years of proven sales or business development experience in construction products.
• Well-established network with architects and C&S consultancy firms.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Valid driving license with own transport preferred.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and growth by promoting steel stiffeners to developers, main contractors, and sub-contractors.
• Source and expand new customer accounts and develop business opportunities.
• Support project-based sales with engineers and project stakeholders to secure product specifications.
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals.
• Build and sustain long-term relationships with existing clients for repeat business.
• Carry out regular site/client visits to assess project needs and provide technical and commercial support.
• Address customer concerns by coordinating with internal teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and pricing movements.
• Compile periodic sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management.
• Manage and track project leads and opportunities using CRM systems.
