Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Promote and sell agricultural equipment, machinery, and technology solutions to farmers, plantation groups, agribusinesses, and distributors.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence within assigned territories.
- Conduct product presentations, field demos, and technical discussions to support customer decision-making.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and follow up on leads to secure sales.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, dealers, and industry partners.
- Conduct regular field visits to understand customer needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Provide responsive support in handling product inquiries, site issues, and after-sales assistance.
Technical Support & Field Application
- Collaborate with technical teams to provide product recommendations and application solutions.
- Assist customers with installation, commissioning, field testing, and troubleshooting of agricultural equipment or systems.
- Gather customer feedback for continuous product and service improvement.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and agricultural developments.
- Provide timely sales forecasts, territory reports, and activity updates to management.
- Support marketing initiatives such as exhibitions, roadshows, and field demonstration events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with supply chain, service, and customer support teams to ensure smooth order processing and product delivery.
- Work with product specialists and regional teams on pricing, positioning, and solution development.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Biology, Farm Mechanization, or related fields.
- 2–4 years of sales experience in agricultural solutions, machinery, crop technology, or related industries (fresh graduates with strong agricultural background may be considered).
Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of agricultural practices, crop management, farm equipment, or agri-tech solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to conduct field demos, equipment tests, and provide practical technical support.
- Competency in using Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
