Jora Malaysia is seeking a technical sales professional to expand our portfolio with refinery, petrochemical, and industrial clients. You will identify opportunities, promote engineered systems, and deliver technical-commercial proposals.
Collaborate with internal teams, manage tenders, negotiate contracts to hit revenue targets, and coordinate projects from award to delivery while aligning with client requirements.

Drive business growth by promoting and delivering advanced technical solutions, specialty chemicals, process technologies and HSE services to clients in the oil & gas, petrochemical and industrial sectors. Act as the technical-commercial interface for a portfolio of internationally developed technologies and products, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including technical, operational and HSE teams.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across refineries, petrochemical complexes, industrial plants and environmental / waste management sectors.
Promote and position specialized technologies, engineered systems and chemical solutions by understanding client process challenges and proposing suitable technology-driven solutions.
Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, including tender submissions (ITB / RFQ / RFP) and handle technical and commercial clarifications.
Work closely with internal teams and international technology providers on technical specifications, costing, pricing strategies and solution alignment.
Lead commercial discussions, negotiations and drive closure of contracts to achieve assigned sales targets and revenue growth.
Act as liaison between clients, principals, and subcontractors, ensuring effective coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Support project execution from award to delivery, including technical coordination, documentation and client communication to ensure successful project outcomes.
Provide technical and commercial evaluation for projects and ensure solutions meet client requirements and expectations.
Monitor market trends, regulatory developments and industry requirements and identify opportunities for new technologies, partners and business expansion.
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Process Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a technical sales, technical service, process engineering, or applications engineering role within the energy, oil & gas, petrochemical or process industries.
Hands-on experience with process technology, specialty chemicals, and/or catalyst applications is essential.
Prior experience supporting sales or business development teams in a technical capacity is an advantage.
Prior experience or exposure to direct sales, prospecting or customer account management is highly advantageous.
