Job summary

HICOM-Teck See Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Sales & Commercial professional to drive quotation preparation and pricing strategy for new projects, including RFQs and major changes.

The role requires strong pricing, costing, and documentation discipline to ensure alignment with corporate targets. The ideal candidate possesses a bachelor's degree and excellent English and Malay language skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new quotations for RFQ and pricing strategy up to project award.
• Revise quotations on PPR with price reconciliation for CN/DN.
• Manage price monitoring and reconciliation with customers and suppliers.
• Prepare MAP papers for approvals up to GMD level.

Job description

Main task on sales and commercial

• i. New quotation preparation - new full major change project, minor change, RHD export based on each countries, LHD market etc
• - Prepare new quotations for the new RFQ, pricing strategy, up to the project award.
• ii. Quotation revision on PPR - almost once every two weeks there is revision TP Memo
• - Oversee pricing, costing, and overall quotations
• iii. Every quotation revision will follow with price reconciliation (CN/DN)
• - Monitor closely on the price revision and reconciliation, both customer and supplier.
• iv. Management approval paper (MAP) etc.
• - Prepare the MAP paper for approval and manage the signatories’ approval up to the GMD level
• v. CR commitment
• - Manage Proton’s VAVE projects to achieve the annual CR target.
• vi. TP memo price monitoring (logbook)
• - Establish proper records of Transfer Price monitoring
• vii. Miscellaneous Claim - compilation, justification, chronology, data documents, evidence up to payment status
• viii. Proton asset tooling yearly verification & audit
• ix. Customer visit and event
• x. PO claim & invoicing (events stage, miscellaneous, DCRCEA etc)
• xi. Exhibitions and forum

Requirements

Job Requirements

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience: Open to both fresh graduates and experienced professionals looking to build a career in automotive commercial and sales operations.

Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both English and Malay (spoken and written) for effective communication with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and international customers.

Key Competencies:

Strong numerical literacy and analytical skills for pricing, costing, and financial reconciliation.

Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail for audit tracking and documentation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel for data handling and PowerPoint for presentations).

Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
