AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is assisting in recruiting a Sales / Business Development Manager - Insurance with strong technical knowledge of Life and Medical Insurance.

The role focuses on policy analysis, review, and providing insurance recommendations to advisers and clients. The candidate will support advisers on complex insurance matters, coordinate with insurers on underwriting and claims, and help improve processes and digital tools for efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Life Insurance or Medical Insurance or related role.
• Hands-on experience in policy handling, analysis and review.
• CFP or RFP certification is an advantage.

Sales / Business Development Manager - Insurance

Our client is looking for an insurance specialist with strong technical knowledge of Life and Medical Insurance. This role is suited to someone experienced in policy analysis, review and providing insurance recommendations, with the ability to support advisers and clients on complex insurance matters.

Our client is an established fintech company operating in the financial services industry.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Description

Support the growth of the insurance business by developing initiatives across different distribution channels.

Work closely with insurance partners on product offerings, campaigns, training and business opportunities.

Provide technical support to advisers on Life and Medical Insurance product selection, quotations, policy analysis and review.

Analyse and compare insurance policies to assess coverage, benefits, terms and suitability, and provide clear recommendations.

Support complex insurance cases and participate in discussions with advisers and clients where required.

Coordinate with insurers on underwriting, new business, policy servicing and claims matters.

Monitor insurance business performance and provide insights on product mix, adviser productivity and business opportunities.

Improve insurance processes, digital tools, SOPs and adviser knowledge resources.

Work with internal stakeholders to ensure insurance operations are efficient and compliant.

Profile

Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance or a related field.

At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, financial advisory or a related insurance-focused role.

Hands-on experience in insurance policy handling, analysis and review is essential.

Strong technical understanding of Life and Medical Insurance products, coverage, benefits and policy terms.

Able to assess policy suitability and explain product features and recommendations clearly to advisers and clients.

CFP or RFP certification is an advantage.
