Job summary

Royal Selangor in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a customer-focused retail salesperson to help achieve outlet daily and monthly sales targets, recognize sales opportunities, and maximize up- and cross-selling. You will provide excellent service, share comprehensive product information, and propose gift ideas while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess at least SPM, Professional Certificate/Diploma in any field.
Preferably with min 1 year of retail sales experience.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia languages and able to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
Basic computer skills.
Dynamic, friendly with cheerful disposition and a team player.
Self-motivated, proactive and result driven with strong passion in sales related roles.
Able to work on rotating shift schedule including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

To achieve outlet daily/monthly sales target, recognize sales opportunities and ability to maximize the sales opportunity via up and cross selling.
Establish long-term relationships with customers, improve customer buying interest and build the brand confidence.
Provide excellent customer services to enrich the customer shopping experience in our retail stores.
Interact with customers by providing comprehensive product information and propose gift ideas to customers for any occasion.
Able to do product articulations and demonstration to customers.
Maintain outlet cleanliness and ensuring all merchandise are properly displayed.
Process sales quotations, orders & deliveries, handle inventory related works, if any.
