Job summary

Jaya Grocer in Malaysia is seeking a store associate to ensure freshness of products, assist customers, and maintain clean, well-stocked shelves across our growing network. You will support promotions and daily operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires Bahasa Malaysia and English, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently. We offer hostel facilities, overtime and public holiday pay, uniforms, and yearly bonus and increment.

Job description

Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction with understand customers’ inquiries and provide appropriate recommendations to the customers. Maintaining outstanding store condition with fully stocked and visual merchandising standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure freshness of products on display shelves

Replenish produce on selling floor

Maintain hygiene of the preparation area

Quality check during stock receiving

Packing and trimming produce

Prepare fresh cut fruits

Ensure FIFO practice in cold room

Assist and support all sales, marketing and promotional activities

Assist in general operation functions and ad-hoc assignments

You should have:
